Howard County Food Bank
For several years Crosswalk youth volunteered to collect food for the Howard County Food Bank. Before the pandemic, the Youth Group, made up of middle and high schoolers, were set up at 3 Giant Food Stores in Columbia and collected food outside of each store during the "MLK Day of Service". In February, 2022, the Youth Group organized the "Souper Super Bowl Sunday'" soup collection. They collected and delivered over 260 pounds of canned soup to the Food Bank in Howard County.
